THE FIRST CRIMEAN OPEN DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL “CrimeaDoc” SUMMED UP THE RESULTS
I Crimean Open Documentary Film Festival “CrimeaDoc” took place in Crimea on May 14 – 17, 2018.
49 documentary films were shown in the framework of competition and out-of-competition programs in the cinema “Berg” in Simferopol to more than 2 000 spectators.
The opening ceremony had a place in the Crimean State Academic Musical Theatre.
During the Festival there were organized many interesting events – master-classes, creative meetings with actors and film directors, round-table discussions, excursions, etc.
The closing ceremony took place on May 17 in the Assembly Hall of the Simferopol Art Museum.
The Deputy Minister of culture of the Republic of Crimea, Ismet Zaatov, welcomed the Festival guests and Jury. He thanked the Festival Management and gave prizes of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea:

For glorification of firmness and courage of Russian People during the Great Patriotic War
“Nedelnoye. The first kilometers of the war”, dir. Michael Ananyev (Moscow)
For the film, prompting to think about the philosophy of life
“Solo Duo”, dir. Pavel Slavin (Moscow)
The special gratitude the Festival Management presented to Ernest Bekirov who created the Festival Anthem.

- honoured journalist of the Republic of Crimea, Lyudmila Obukhovskaya, thanked the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea and the Festival Management.
