THE FIRST CRIMEAN OPEN DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL “CrimeaDoc” SUMMED UP THE RESULTS

 I Crimean Open Documentary Film Festival “CrimeaDoc” took place in Crimea on May 14 – 17, 2018.

49 documentary films were shown in the framework of competition and out-of-competition programs in the cinema “Berg” in Simferopol to more than 2 000 spectators. 

The opening ceremony had a place in the Crimean State Academic Musical Theatre.  

During the Festival there were organized many interesting events – master-classes, creative meetings with actors and film directors, round-table discussions, excursions, etc.

The closing ceremony took place on May 17 in the Assembly Hall of the Simferopol Art Museum.  

The Deputy Minister of culture of the Republic of Crimea, Ismet Zaatov, welcomed the Festival guests and Jury. He thanked the Festival Management and gave prizes of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea:

Special Diploma

“Alushta. Declaration of love”, dir. Boris Mayevsky (Crimea)

For devotion and love to Crimea

“Chord. 5 musical miracles of Crimea”, dir. Olesya Kostenko (Crimea)

 

The audience prize 'Crimeans' Choice'

“Alime Abdenanova”, studio “DocTV” (Moscow)

 

The Head of the Festival Management, Svetlana Kosarich along with the program director of the Festival, Elena Kutsenko, rewarded with Diplomas and prizes of the Festival Management:

For promotion of the Russian trades

“Passion for Cheese”, dir Sergey Seregin (Russia)

 

For glorification of firmness and courage of Russian People during the Great Patriotic War

“Nedelnoye. The first kilometers of the war”, dir. Michael Ananyev (Moscow)

 

For the film, prompting to think about the philosophy of life

“Solo Duo”, dir. Pavel Slavin (Moscow)

 

The special gratitude the Festival Management presented to Ernest Bekirov who created the Festival Anthem.

 

The competition Jury

- film director, president of the Documentary Films’ Association, Galina Leontyeva (Jury head);

- Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, Ismet Zaatov;

- film director, Eugene Golynkin;

- people's artist of Russia, professor of the Russian Academy for Dramatic Art, Vladimir Pivovarov;

- honoured journalist of the Republic of Crimea, Lyudmila Obukhovskaya, thanked the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea and the Festival Management.

“The Selivanovs: we are at home”, dir. Vladimir Parshikov (Russia)

 

Best film in the nomination “Crimea on the Documentary Screen”

“They hear us”, dir. Marina Trush and Vladimir Samorodov (Russia)

 

Special Jury prize for “The Special View”

“East Front”, dir. Andew Osipov (Russia)

 

Jury Diploma "For the preservation of historical memory», 

“Dream Factory” for comrade Stalin”, dir. Boris Karadjev (Russia)

 

Jury Diploma "For creating the image of a contemporary artist»

“Anisimov”, dir. Maxim Gureev (Russia)

 

Jury Diploma "To remember...!»

“Alibek”, dir. Vadim Tsalikov (Russia);

 

The festival closing film was “Galina Shurepova – “woman-amphibian” by Alexey Malechkin.
